Inauguration of Painting Exhibition

Rhythm of Colours. The Exhibition Rhythm of Colours has a collection of paintings by different painters from India and Bangladesh. The Indian painters are from the eastern state of West Bengal and the northeastern states such as Assam and Manipur. Although the exhibits are by different painters, the common thread that binds the exhibits is the use of bold and bright colours. The painters have made liberal use of shapes, figures and abstract forms in their paintings. All paintings have been made on canvas with acrylic. The Exhibition is from the permanent collection of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
