Indian Chai Exhibition at Tolon Fashion Mall, Caracas Venezuela. April 2018

"Exhibition of Indian Tea

                Embassy of India, Caracas organized an Exhibition on ‘Chai de la India- Un sabor del cielo’ (Indian Chai, a heavenly flavor) at the premises of the prestigious mall Tolon Fashion Mall, Caracas, Venezuela from 23rd to 25th April. More than 1000 people including members of Diplomatic corps, business stakeholders and Venezuelan citizens attended the event.

2.            Second Secretary (Commerce & PIC)/Cd’A gave a due recognition to the Tea Board of India in his address. He informed the participants about the origin of the Indian Tea and its commendable progress duly emphasizing the quality control ensured by the Tea Board of India in the brand carrying the logo of the Indian Tea. He invited attendees to provide their feedback.

3.            General Manager of Tolon Fashion Mall, Mr. Carlos Moreno spoke highly about India and its culture. He congratulated the Mission for holding this event to introduce the taste and benefits of the Indian Tea to the Venezuelan Nationals.

4.            A Bollywood dance was performed by a local dance academy and Yoga was demonstrated by Embassy’s teacher of Indian Culture during the inauguration ceremony, which was much appreciated by attendees.

5.            Publicity material and videos of Incredible India were also a big hit.
