Reception organised by the Embassy of India, Caracas to mark the 72nd Republic Day of India

Celebration of 72nd Republic Day of India

Embassy of India, Caracas organised the Flag hoisting ceremony at Embassy Residence during the day on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day of India. The event comprised of reading out of the message of Honourable President of India by Ambassador Shri Abhishek Singh, followed by Cultural programmes and serving of refreshments. There was live streaming of the proceeding for Indian community to join online.

2. National Day reception was hosted by the Embassy of India, Caracas to mark the celebration of 72nd Republic Day of India in the evening of 26 January 2021 at Hotel JW Marriott, Caracas. The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, H.E. Mr. Jorge Arreaza graced the event. He congratulated the Government of India and the people of India on their 72nd Republic Day and conveyed greeting on behalf of the Government of Venezuela. While addressing the attendees, Ambassador gave an overview of activities of the Embassy. He also conveyed about the efforts of Government of India relating to containment of COVID-19.

3. About 150 guests present in the event, enjoyed lively cultural performances and the delicious Indian cuisine. Gifts were presented to the artists who performed during the event. The event concluded with a group photograph. During the event, all Covid-19 SOPs were strictly adhered to by all the participants.
