Embassy of India participates in International Tourism Fair ‘FITVEN’ in Margarita, Venezuela

The Embassy of India in Caracas participated in International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (FitVen 2016) during 24-27 November 2016 on invitation from the Venezuelan Ministry of Tourism. The event took place in Margarita Island, Nueva Esparta State. There were 103 national exhibitors and 35 international. 16.273 persons visited the Fair. The Incredible India stand was a hit and it attracted a large number of visitors including many VIPs. India Tourism brochures were distributed on the occasion and queries from general public on varied subjects were attended to. The local TV channels and radio stations showed a lot of interest in India stand and gave it a wide coverage. The Fair provided a good platform to showcase India's tourism potential.
