During his address on 'India's cultural connect with world' to a group of friends of India in Valencia, a young Venezuelan said he has named his son 'Banaras' after the great Indian city. Amb. informed the gathering that Varanasi (formerly Banaras) is a culturally very important city of India. Every one was excited when Amb. Singh informed that Varanasi is also the parliamentary constituency of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Amb. invited 'Banaras' of Venezuela on stage and gifted him a token of appreciation.
